Court Deputies Department

The Court Deputies Department of the Lucas County Common Pleas Court is responsible for providing a safe and orderly environment for all staff, victims, defendants, and visitors to the Court of Common Pleas. In addition to Courthouse security, Court Deputies assist the court in a variety of assignments in the community such as Community Policing for the Treatment Court, Prisoner Transports, Warrant Service, and Security Escorts for any visitors to the court.

Uniformed Court Deputies patrol the Court grounds and all Court Services facilities. Any visitor to the court requiring assistance can reach the court deputies during court business hours at (419) 213-4918.
